| Gainesville Violins has lots of "used" instruments. Some were traded in or bought from customers, while others come out of our rental program. These instruments may be one, two, five, ten or more years old. They are essentially "modern" instruments that have been pre-owned and used. They have all been refurbished by Gainesville Violins. All of them are structurally sound and acoustically excellent. They are covered by the same guarantees as all instruments from Gainesville Violins, yet they may represent a substantial financial saving. Tiffanie Webster and her teacher, Diane Marshall (Tallahassee 2004), came to Gainesville Violins to select a "Vault Collection" antique violin for Tiffanie. They selected the fine 1896 Johann Pauli (from Hamm, Germany, pictured above) for Tiffanie. BUT it did not end there. Diane was so impressed with an 1897 Oscar Herrman Seidel (Dresden, Germany) that she bought it for herself! The two violins were sold for under $4,000 each. |

This includes the pegs, the nut, the tailpiece and endpin, dressing the fingerboard, making the bridge and soundpost, selecting the best strings and adjusting the acoustical set-up for best tone. |

This has been the acclaimed and popular entry-level cello since 1998. It is available for purchase or for rent (see the "Rental" page.) It has a solid carved body (NOT laminated or heat-pressed) with a spruce top and a maple back, tailpiece with 4 built-in finetuners, top quality strings, solid ebony fittings, ebony fingerboard, custom-made spotted maple bridge, custom-made spruce soundpost, brazilwood bow with real horsehair, cello rosin and a padded carry-bag.
